Guys:
Just found this blog thru madison.com and have enjoyed reading for the past hour about your aventures. As a young man in early 1980's I had a similar pact with friends, and spent 3 months traveling europe. Got sweet couchsurfs overlooking the Royal Palace in London and Notre Dame in Paris. Your writing brings back some great memories, and reminds me how valuable it is to be members of the world community, learning about other cultures by walking among them.

WOW.... What an experience. Glad you and your BFFs are having the time of your young lives.  I've followed your trip pretty much from Rome to South Africa through the England/U.S. "tie" game. Of course, we Yanks feel it was a "win" but 1-1 is a tie in anyone's vocabulary, I'd say?? Glad you and your friends are having a terrific trip. It's been wet/rainy/cloudy for nearly a week in MN, so it can begin to dry out any time soon. Take care, safe traveling and hope your visit to the cheetah farm went well today, 6/14. God Bless..... | Well we first started talking at the airport terminal in Rome, but I did notice Teddy's hat in Dublin airport, I just thought 'typical American'. Then we had those 4 adventure filled days exploring and partying and what not. I'll never forget it guys. |
